During these boring social distancing times, I got a chance to talk with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong Bassist, Ben Carrey. Luckily for me, this is one of the first instances in 8 years where he and the band weren’t on tour.
This interview was done over the phone, during which we talked about the “Live From Out There” virtual music festival that he and the band have been taking part in these past few weeks, and how it has been different for him to have all of this time away from touring.
We also talked about the recently established “Dawn A New Day Foundation” and how he feels about the positivity being spread by the cause, the band, and the fans alike. He finds that the mission of the foundation matches the mission that the band has had for the past 10+ years, which is to spread joy and positivity as far as possible.
